Wow. A man after my own heart. (Can two men do that, I suppose so!). Do you know as I write these posts I'm beginning to realise that I too don't really hate Christmas; like you, I hate what it's become. The trouble is I think it was well on its way to becoming what it is today even before I was born. So when I say I hate Christmas, perhaps I should add the caveat today

I used to love Christmas, then I hated Christmas, now I realise I don't hate Christmas I hate the following. I hate the idiots who take their car out twice a year once in summer then once in Christmas causing accidents and tailbacks because they are indecisive and seriously can't drive causing congestion and delaying my trip to work. I hate the numpties who clog up the shops racking up debt buying shit that no one wants or needs delaying me further when I just want to get my normal every day grocceries. I hate the people who panic buy double their normal grocceries ontop of the christmas food they've purchased because the stores ar closed for one whole day how are we going to cope. I hate the pointless cards from people you don't know on your street "seasons greetings to number 12 form number 26". I hate the fact because people insist on going to stores on boxing day I am delayed picking up my elderly grandmother who wants to spend boxing day with her family. I hate that the next few working day after boxing days I have to go into to restock the stores with all this crap that shouldn't have been bought but was bought because hey it's the boxing day sales. I hate the boxing day sale the price is more than it is the rest of the year how is that a sale. I hate the fact it's deemed weird to be over 20 and single at christmas you are sidelined from get togethers it's couples only if they invited more singles to hang around with them maybe we would hook up "duhh". I hate the fake sentimentality and charity that goes with this commercialised christmas. I just want to rest from the year by all means sell christmasy stuf but don't be so in my face with it, I do believe that nationally every single shop should be forced into closing there doors at midnight on the 23 of december and not allowed to open again until midday January 2 at the earliest anyone caught opening their doors should be hung from the fake tree the have erected and stoned to death with the cheap tacky decorations they have hung up, people need time to be allowed to stop and chill out and rexla from the year not purchase shite and certainly not have to go into work to re supply the shite for people to purchase.
