My Mum is quite an active woman and shows no sign of slowing down1. She’s technically able and we often chat on Skype or Instant Message etc if we spot each other on-line.
So last night I came into my office to see an instant message on screen. My Mum had been trying to tell me of a death in our family. No-one that close and it’s one of my Grandfather’s step-sisters who’d been in a coma. All very sad really but perhaps she needed a release from her suffering. Who knows. Anyway, this was the message and hopefully my Mum won’t mind me posting it. Will you Mum:
Oops you’ve gone again. Further complication! Mary (Granddad’s step sister – lovely lady, trapped in her body after stroke 4 +years ago) has died. Funeral on Tuesday. God what an awful message. On a lighter note! Do you like Shaun the Sheep?
