woow didn’t had idea about the free cron service. I was looking for days for a good wp cron manager plugin, but apparently there is no such thing out there. I have a “wordpress network” set up with 40 so blogs on it, and it is killing me the idea that the crons are checking 2-3 times a day for wordpress core updates, theme updates and plugin updates. I mean it is insane! It would be great to change these to look for those new versions once in 3 days for example.
