This morning I wanted to find a way of updating two separate Twitter accounts with the same tweet. I like a bit of work/play separation but sometimes the same tweet is appropriate to both accounts. This is how I did it.
I’ve recently started using a service called Tarpipe who provide a publishing mediation and distribution platform that simplifies regular upload activities. In other words it’s a way of interconnecting several social networking accounts. The idea is simple. You send data to Tarpipe, either via email, XMPP (Jabber) or the REST-API and Tarpipe takes that data, separates it and sends the same information off to any social networking or similar sites.

Following on from yesterday’s post about tweeting to two Twitter accounts simultaneously, I was thinking about how to post images off my camera phone to two Twitter accounts. I already have a Tarpipe workflow that does the job with my main Twitter account so I played around with it this morning and now I have it working with two accounts. Tarpipe rocks, seriously.
